Thanks to the hospitality of mountain huts, it’s possible to cover long distances on skis —true multi-stage journeys— to cross entire mountain ranges or to reach peaks that would be difficult to summit in a single day.
DESCRIPTION
There’s nothing better than spending a spring day skiing in the high mountains and arriving, tired but satisfied, at a warm and welcoming hut… a game of cards, dinner in good company, and an early bedtime, because the next day the alarm will ring before dawn and it will be time to set off for the next stage… The backpack will definitely feel a bit heavier, but it’s always worth it!
